Chef de Partie
The Client 
Our client is well established within the hospitality industry and is looking for a Chef de Partie to join their kitchen brigade. The chosen candidate will take full responsibility for the running of a particular section of the kitchen and will thrive to achieve the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions
  • Ensuring that all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and quantity as well as served and presented to the specifications set on the menu
  • Maintaining and checking cleanliness all sections of the kitchen, including storage areas
  • Providing the right training and optimum guidance to junior cooks and trainees
  • Anticipating shortages and communicating them promptly to the Sous Chef or the Head Chef
  • Acting as a deputy in the Sous Chef’s absence and taking charge of the kitchen when required
  • Attending training courses and seminars as and when required
  • Being familiar with HACCP Standards and Health & Safety Regulations as stipulated by Law
  • Ensuring all security incidents & accidents are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention of the direct manager
  • At least 2-3 years experience in a similar role
  • Relevant qualification from ITS
  • Excellent team player
  • Proactive and thrives on creativity
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Knowledgeable about all Health and Safety and food handling procedures
