Marketing & Events Coordinator
The Client
Our client is a leader in the local fashion industry managing a number of stores specialising in casual and sportswear. The company is experiencing major expansion and is currently looking for a Marketing & Events Coordinator.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Event planning, designing and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits and budgets
  • Working closely with internal customers to identify their needs, the scope of events, budget and to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Scouting locations for events
  • Conducting market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to presenting to manager for approval
  • Providing feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
  • Organising facilities and managing all event details such as decor, catering, sound and video systems, any other equipment, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, promotional material etc
  • Ensuring compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
  • Cooperating with marketing and PR to promote and publicise events
  • Proactively handling any arising issues and troubleshooting any emerging problems on the event day
  • Managing partnership communications, including regular outreach calls/meetings, recap meetings and presentations
Requirements
  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • The ability to work on multiple projects at one time under pressure
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good knowledge of marketing techniques, including Social Media
  • The ability to be a team player
  • Good creative skills
  • Fluent in Maltese & English
