Head of Acquisition
The Client
Our client, a fast growing and highly successful Malta-based i-gaming company with offices in a central area, are now looking for a Head of Acquisition to oversee all acquisition channels and performance marketing.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Being commercially accountable for the top-level performance across all acquisition channels including; Affiliation, media buying, mobile (iOS & Android) and performance marketing
  • Managing the online acquisition roadmap for the brand and act as the lead person in managing the online acquisition channels controlling all costs to ensure profitability from all activities
  • Overseeing Affiliate account management, newsletter communication, launch and position new affiliate programs and representing the affiliate program on the biggest shows and conferences
  • Overseeing the communication with Affiliate forums and work towards maintain the brands’ reputation online
  • Improving traffic conversion through web and mobile re-targeting
  • Developing a deep understanding of the customers, competitors and environment to build a strategy and execution plans in service to driving business growth
  • Working with internal stakeholders to acquire and analyze all data and decide upon strategies at a granular level, using BI input and other prediction and forecasting tools to optimize acquisition channel performance and focus spend on best performing areas
  • Providing data analysis and reviewing the efficiency of campaigns, as well as commentary on how this informs future marketing strategies
  • Leading and owning the customer journey across different product platforms (e.g. desktop/ mobile/ tablet) and coordinating for timely deliverables by working with the development teams and other 3rd party suppliers
  • Being a key stakeholder in the defining the product strategy and the growth opportunities of the brand by liaising with Brands management, board of directors and COO of service provider
  • Developing and manage budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel
  • Establishing and communicating targets for revenue, conversions and visits from all online channels and ensuring these are being met
  • Enforcing strong processes, structure and weekly/monthly reporting from direct reports, and for reporting upwards to board level
  • Building strong relationships both internally and externally to bring in best practices and to continually grow the company’s marketing capability
  • Making sure the business keeps abreast of digital/mobile marketing developments and best practice
  • Introducing new acquisition channels as the opportunity arises
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in acquisition marketing within the e-commerce sector with a proven track record of building online casino brands
  • Proven experience in maintaining and strategically growing client relationships
  • Confidence in online marketing business models (CPM, CPC, CPL, CPA etc.)
  • High affinity with numbers, ability to interpret BI data reports and comprehension of tracking tools
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Very strong strategic thinking with an eye for detail
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • A practical and hands-on approach with a can-do mentality
  • Strong leadership qualities and able to manage a high-performing team
  • A strong presence and able to represent the company in high level meetings and affiliate shows
