Chef de Partie
The Client 
Our client is well established within the hospitality industry and is looking for a Chef de Partie to join their kitchen brigade. The chosen candidate will take full responsibility for the running of a particular section of the kitchen and will thrive to achieve the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions
Ensuring that all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and quantity as well as served and presented to the specifications set on the menu
Maintaining and checking cleanliness all sections of the kitchen, including storage areas
Providing the right training and optimum guidance to junior cooks and trainees
Anticipating shortages and communicating them promptly to the Sous Chef or the Head Chef
Acting as a deputy in the Sous Chef’s absence and taking charge of the kitchen when required
Attending training courses and seminars as and when required
Being familiar with HACCP Standards and Health & Safety Regulations as stipulated by Law
Ensuring all security incidents & accidents are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention of the direct manager

At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
Relevant qualification from ITS
Excellent team player
Proactive and thrives on creativity
Able to work under pressure
Knowledgeable about all Health and Safety and food handling procedures
